My name is Anna Oleynik, and I am a researcher in Applied Mathematics at the University of Bergen.

I received my PhD in applied mathematics from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU) in 2011. After that, I was a guest researcher at Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, and later held positions at Uppsala University, Örebro University, and NMBU, before joining the University of Bergen.

My work focuses on mathematical modelling, dynamical systems, optimization, and numerical simulations.

Current topics include marine monitoring, epidemiological modelling, portfolio optimization, and data-driven methods.
